Atul is imported from India and assembled in Port Elizabeth. It makes sense to do the modifications on a large scale in Port Elizabeth before national roll-out, however, if you’d prefer to be more hands on with your modifications, Scoot Dr recommend Street Food Trucks in Cape Town or Duane Services in Gauteng as per the Como Foods and Neotel examples respectively:
Como Foods www.comofoods.co.za
Street Food Trucks constantly have Atul vehicles in their workshop so an ideal opportunity to make contact with Janet or Chris and talk through your requirements with them, see examples of their work and get a quote etc.

Many customers use the delivery van as a base from which to customise for simple mobile coffee and mobile deli vehicles due to it only being approximately R2,500 more expensive than the Cargo vehicle.
The Delivery van naturally comes with an already fully enclosed steel canopy. See Cape Town’s Java Joe example below:
Scoot Dr recommend using the 6+1 or Cargo Vehicle as vehicle base from which to create elaborate customisations as can be seen from collage for “Oh my Coffee” a franchised Mobile Coffee brand in Port Elizabeth.
The 6+1 is ideal for elaborate customisations as the engine sits below the driver, thus you do not have to work around the engine hatch of Cargo or Delivery vans.
The “Oh my Coffee” modifications done above were on a long wheel base cargo and were done in dual wall aluminium.
The same company is also able to insulate the vans and is as follows:
145 Commercial Road
Furthermore, the Delivery van is not only a wonderful ½ ton load capacity vehicle, but an unbelievable mobile advertising board. Scoot Dr have developed baby-H aluminium brackets to keep branded ABS boards in place to give a clean simple message solution.
The cost is R8,500.00, applied over the corrugations of the vehicle, inclusive of decals on the cab. You can either send us your logo’s and we’ll do the rest or the completed artwork as per the following dimensions:
- 2 x sides : 1370 x 1080 mm
- 2 x rear doors : 605 x 1055 , 620 x 1060
- 2 x cab doors : 450 x 450 mm
